Wednesday night in Chicago, the Yankees took Game 2 of the Doubleheader by beating the White Sox, 8-1. Chien-Ming Wang pitched seven strong innings and Hideki Matsui drove in four runs for the win.


Wang (2-3), limited the White Sox to one earned run and six hits in picking up his second victory of the season, leaving with a three-run lead before the Yankees blew the game open with four runs -- including homers from Melky Cabrera and Jorge Posada -- in the ninth inning.
