Four Yankees pitchers combined to keep the Blue Jays off the bases in a five-plus-inning rain-shortened game at Knology Park on Tuesday, a 2-0 contest that was interrupted by a 42-minute rain delay. Phil Hughes, Scott Patterson, Kei Igawa and Billy Traber combined to pitch the perfect innings.

Shelley Duncan doubled to left field and scored on a single by center fielder Melky Cabrera, giving the Yankees a 1-0 lead. Duncan added an RBI single in the fourth inning to score Morgan Ensberg, continuing Duncans hot bat in the preseason.
Unfotunately, rain shortened the day, and game was called in the 6th inning.

The Yankees will return home to Legends Field on Wednesday to meet the Twins. Right-hander Ian Kennedy is slated to make his first start of the spring for New York, opposite Minnesota right-hander Kevin Slowey. First pitch is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. ET.
