8TH INNING


Thursday night in Baltimore, the Yankees and Orioles game was suspended due to rain in the 8th inning, with the Yankees leading 8-6. The game will resume on July 27 before a regularly scheduled game in Baltimore. The Yankees scored 4 runs in the top of the 8th, to take an 8-6 lead, and were still bat when the game was called.


Chien-Ming Wang pitched 6.1 innings, and looked good until the 7th inning, when he gave up 4 runs to put the Yanks behing 6-4. Wang gave up 6 runs on 9 hits, and only struck out 1.
