The Yanks and LaTroy Hawkins reportedly agreed to the $3.75 million deal that was on the table earlier this month. He comes to the Bronx after making 62 relief appearances for the Colorado Rockies in 2007, going 2-5 with a 3.42 ERA.

It would make sense to assume that Hawkins will fill in the role which Luis Vizcaino held for the Yankees this past season as the setup man.
The Yankees still unfortunately have Kyle Farnsworth on the roster, but I do not see Girardi being as stubborn as Torre by keeping him in thar role.
