I figured I would put this post up, to have some fun, and get a good laugh at some “Funny, yet possibly true” comments before the season starts!

Sooo.. with the ‘07 Season upon is..
What I’m looking forward to most this season:

I cannot wait for Curt Schilling to receive “please retire” chants at Fenway by June.

I cannot wait for the noveltly act of Matsuzaka to wear off in a few weeks when people come to their senses and realize that despite him being able to strike out minor leaguers, he will walk 12 batters in a MLB game.

I cannot wait for Red Sox fans to bitch about the Yankees “buying their players” when they dropped several million to have the rights to negotiate with Matsuzaka who will become about as effective as Chan Ho Park.

I cannot wait for one of the Red Sox starters to get injured so that Papplebon will take the voided spot thinking he can magically pitch a full game only to realize that batters learned how to hit him.

I cannot wait for Eric Gagne to get a headache from wearing his goggles too tight and spend the full season on the DL.

I cannot wait to see Sammy Sosa sitting on The Rangers bench with his boom box.

I cannot wait to see Delmon Young throw a bat at that boom box.

I cannot wait to see The Marlins win the NL East to the response of “how the hell did that happen’ by Mets + Phillies fans. ……… Oh right, pitching.

I cannot wait to see The Red Sox finish last in the AL East to the response of every Yankee fan on the floor in tears from laughing so hard and “wow we’re not last this year” from every Tampa Bay fan..all 10 of them.

I cannot wait to hear the phrase “whoa who the hell is Alex Gordon” at least 50 zillion times this year as he will be the AL’s answer to David Wright by the all star break.

I cannot wait for Barry Bonds to break Hank Aaron’s record to the response of “who cares” by everyone except the Home Shopping Network.
