With the Free Agent buzz in the air, the Yankees are looking to go shopping. Of course, every team is looking at CC Sabathia, as pitching is the number one order of shopping for every team. However, the Yankees are considering Manny Ramirez.

“There’s nothing we are not looking at,” Steinbrenner told The Associated Press on Friday at the Yankees’ Spring Training complex. “And personally, I like Manny. He’s one of the greatest hitters in the history of the game. He’s a free spirit for sure, but he knows how to win. We like some of the other guys, too. We just don’t know yet.”

The Yankees better NOT get this guy. The Yankees don’t need a guy like this to add to the mix…. We don’t need another non-hustling, pre-madonna, who can’t even run to first base. We also don’t need a guy who will quit on plays when he isn’t happy, or doesn’t feel like running.

I understand that Manny is one of the greatest hitters in recent baseball history…however, his baggage is NOT worth it. The Yanks have enough “star” problems on the team as it is…and Manny would disrupt tings even more. Also…as a Yankee fan, if you want Manny here, you are not a real Yankee fan. Let him go play in L.A. … because if he becomes a Yankee, I have had it..and will boo him every step he takes on the field.
