Tuesday night in Tampa, the Yankees lost 7-6 to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Joe Torre did everything in his power to lose this game, and did so.
Torre’s backwards thinking of “we don’t need this game, because we are going to clinch the wild card anyway”, caused the Yankees to lose the game.


Joe Torre brings in Jeff Karstens in the 10th inning of a 6-6 game, just because he wants to “rest pitchers” for the playoffs….and feels that the AL East Division is not important enough to try to win. The Yankees were only 2 games behind the Red Sox for first place, but Joe Torre feels that the division title isn’t important enough to win games.
** At LEAST try to clinch the Wild Card Spot before not trying to win games jackass!!



I know Yankee fans don’t want to hear this but…. It would be GREAT of the Yankees lost all remaining 5 games, and Tigers win all remaining 5 games… so the Yankees don’t make the playofffs. Torre didn’t learn his lesson, when he didn’t put away the Sox in 2004 ..and I hoe he gets burned again for his stupidity.
WHAT A WASTE to be 14.5 games behind Boston, and to come all the way back…and then not even try to win the division. I would have rather won the AL EAST and lost int he first round….then to finish second and get in as a Wild Card.



Hey JOE…. Grow some balls…and wake up!!!



PS: For those of you who don’t think Joe Torre is asleep during games and is Senile…. When asked after the game the other night “What is Ian Kennedy’s Status?” Joe Torre just looked at the reporter, scratched his head..and asked “Who is Ian Kennedy??”
