It’s Baseball time!!
While those of us up in New York are dealing with 20 degrees and blasts of wintry wind.. the Yankees are ready to report to Tampa this week.
Thursday, Feb. 14 is the offical day to report for Pitchers and Catchers, but some Yankees have already started working out in Tampa.
Jorge Posada and Derek Jeter have already started taking at bats, and pitchers such as Joba Chamberlain, Phil Hughes, IanKennedy, and Jeff Karstens, have started working with pitching coach Dave Eiland.
Position players are supposed to report on Feb. 19, and Spring Training will begin. Joe Girardi, who will be wearing #27, will address the media for the first time as manager in the pinstripes, on Wednesday.
