Clemens will pitch Monday at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre against Toledo and it’s still not certain when he will join the Yankees, the Associated Press reports. “We’ll take it start by start,” said GM Brian Cashman Friday. When asked if Clemens might toe the rubber when the Yankees travel to Boston next weekend, manager Joe Torre added, “Fenway, as they used to say in football, is piling on.” We’ll continue to keep you posted on Clemens’ status.
