The Yankees have recently offered Mariano Rivera a 3 year-$45million dollar contract, and Rivera has not accepted. Mariano Rivera is looking for a 4th year in his contract, and the Yankees are only offering 3. However, the amount of money that they Yankees offered Rivera for 3 years, is WAYYY more than any other team would offer.

It seems as if Rivera and his agent are trying to play hard ball with the Yanks….but just like AROD…he will lose. I am a huge fan of Mariano Rivera, but it’s getting to the point with all these players greed, that it starts leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Rivera is 38 years old, and is being an offered a rediculously high amount of money….. JUST PITCH ALREADY!!
