Giambi (heel) will be out at least three weeks after an examination on Thursday revealed torn issue in the arch of his left foot, the Associated Press reports. “He will be re-evaluated in three weeks,” Yankees spokesman Jason Zillo said. With Giambi out, Melky Cabrera will see more playing time in the outfield, with Hideki Matsui, Johnny Damon and Bobby Abreu all getting time at the DH spot. Not much is going right for the Yankees and their controversial stars this season, and this is yet another example because Giambi was thought to possibly be ready to play this weekend. Perhaps those Mark Teixeira or Todd Helton rumors will start to heat up
