Tuesday night at the Stadium will mark the start of a “Do or Die” series for the Yankees against the Red Sox. Basically, the Yankees must sweep the Sox to have any chance of catching them for the Wild Card. The Yankees enter the series behind Boston by 5 games in the Wild Card race.

New York and Boston have evenly split their 12 games so far this season, meeting another six times before the season ends. The Yankees are trying to avoid being left out of postseason play for the first time since 1993.

Wed: PONSON vs Byrd
Thur: MUSSINA vs Lester
