November 10, 2007

Roger Clemens officially filed for free agency on Friday. Clemens has yet to declare publicly whether or not he will return to the Yankees — or any other team — in 2008, though filing for free agency keeps all of his options intact. Clemens finished 6-6 with a 4.18 ERA in 2007.

Unfortunately, this means that we have to hear about Clemens in the media for the next 6 months, as to whther or not he retires. This will get as annoying as hearing if Bret Favre will retire every off season.
Hopefully, this is the last we have to deal with him.
