Pavano is waiting for permission from the Yankees to have reconstructive elbow surgery. Pavano believes surgery is the only way to repair his elbow, and general manager Brian Cashman has been awaiting written diagnoses from the three specialists who examined Pavano. Since signing a four-year contract with the Yankees before the 2005 season, Pavano has made just 19 starts because of injuries

Hopefully they just drop him already … picking him up was one of the worst moves in Yankee history. Just as bad as KEVIN BROWN!
