Alex Rodriguez not participating in the All-Star Home Run Derby is a shame.
How can a player who claims he is “so into the New York Yankees history”, not participate in a Home Run Derby that is being held in Yankee Stadium for the final time?

First off, I am tired of the excuse that players use when they say “It will mess up my swing”. BULLSH*T!!!
1)Taking homerun swings for about 30 pitches for one day, does not affect your swing for the rest of the season.
2)When your normal swing is a homerun swing…. how is it any different?
3)A-Rod bombs homeruns out every single day during pre-game batting practice for 30 minutes.

Being that A-Rod had done absoultely NOTHING to distinguish himself in Yankee history, except be known for choking in the playoffs, and never hitting in the clutch…. You would think that he would like to do something POSITIVE in the stadium for once!!
GUESS NOT!!!
